KIDS IN THE CORNER
I've been living in the United States for the past 25 years and heard so many stories about "the kids in the corner". That they are drug dealers and very dangerous and was warned not to get close to them. It installed fear in me for so long. I have lived here for too long and question WHY they are standing in the corner in the first place? I think we all know the answer. No kid chooses to be a drug dealer unless he sees no path of the future. A kid left in poverty will find any means to come out of it. A kid living in a dangerous environment learns dangerous behaviors. If we don't resolve the WHY, it isn't fair to judge the kids in the corner.
