Beauty and Adornment
The idea of adornment is diverse and holds different meanings in different cultures. Tribal communities in Ethiopia have followed beautiful rituals for many decades and have chosen adornment as a method of identity and also a way to attract the attention of the opposite sex. For example, in the Omo Valley of Ethiopia, you will find tribal communities that use native ways of adornment interesting for the modern eye. Face painting, piercing, or markings on people’s bodies are commonly seen in these tribes.
